| not get a lot of help here for your particular model of car. :-) That being said, I used to have an 86zx turbo. The gauge above the radio is the OIL temperature gauge. Regarding the boost gauge, it is normal for the boost gauge to read around 0 at idle. Under full acceleration it should move towards the 7. If yours is not moving much off zero, than I'd say your turbo is not working. You should also be able to feel the turbo kick in under acceleration too, around 3000 rpms. Hope that helps.
